I have just visited the Triangular Lodge in Rushton. It is a building that is in the shape of a triangle and has a common theme of the number three running though it. The building was designed by the same person which designed Lyveden New Bield which I visited last year.
The house is made of three floors, with a hexagonal room in the centre of each floor, two triangular rooms in the corners of each floor and a circular staircase in the third corner which connects the three floors. Each of the floors has three windows, all of which have a different design but with the common theme of three connecting them.
After that I went to East Carlton Park for a walk before heading home.
