Puff Pastry Slices

Hi !!!
Recently I had to make something to bring to a lunch, so about an hour before I was due to be there I started to make it, as you do ...

This recipe is very simple, quick, easy and people enjoy it. So here we go ...

Ingredients:

• Puffy pastry (I used pre-rolled as I had little time)
• Tomato puree
• Cheese
• Pepper (or any other toppings you like)

Method:

1. Grease a tin that will fit your pastry

 

2. Lay your pastry onto your tray



 

3. Cover the pastry with a thin layer of tomato puree, leaving an inch border around the edge

 

 

4. Sprinkle some cheese on top, being careful not to get it on the border



 

5. Lay your topping on top, I used peppers

 

 

6. Sprinkle some more cheese on top so that it has as nice finish

 

 

7. Cook on gas mark 8, or what your packaging says

 

 

8. Cut into portions and your done !!!

Big Gig 2014

Hi !!!
On the 4th October I went to the Big Gig, a guiding concert that happens every year. I the past I have been to:

• Wembley -2011
• LG Arena-2013

In the past I have seen:

• The Wanted
• Lawson
• Many more ...

This year it was at Wembley and I saw:

• Kingsland Road
• Diversity
• Mike Dignam
• Neon Jungle
• Union J
• Little Mix
• Kimberly Wyatt-presenting
• 2 surprise acts:
• Stooshe
• Stacey Solomon

From the line up I did not think this years concert would be that great, but I had a lovely time and enjoyed it a lot. However, I have learnt if it is raining and you are going to be outside don't put anything in a paper bag...

Natural vs Unnatural

Hi !!!
I have just been on a walk where I saw an electricity pylon with barbed wire wrapped around it and brambles in the background. Generally, when I am out if I see barbed wire I will take a photo as I love the harsh appearance of it and this was no exception, I love the natural against the unnatural, the brambles against the barbed wire, but also the togetherness of the harshness in the photos.

Horse ...

Hi !!!
Recently I have had to take photos of an animal for an art project and whilst I was on a walk I past some beautiful horses that loved having their photo taken. I am really happy with the outcome and I think I was very fortunate I think to take this picture when I did as I love the movement, colour and contrast of it and I don't think I would change anything about it (well not much) !!!
