Whitby | Day 4

Hi !!!
On the forth day we decided to go on a walk from where we were staying, a farm, to Ravenscar, a village a few miles away. I found out part way round that this was not a walk from a book and that the person who I was walking with had made it up (I see why it was not in the book).

The walk started by us going through a field with cows in, but unusually they started moving as a herd towards us, I got a bit freaked out, then we could not find the exit to the field so we went over a barbed wire fence. Then we went down a slop with a very narrow, slippery path which had a large drop on one side ( I only almost fell down the drop three times). After wards we had a shale field to cross on, yet again, a very steep slope. Lastly on the way there we had to walk through some bracken, which went up to my shoulders and covered the path and also the gauze hidden within.

Finally when we made it to Ravenscar we found a lovely tea shop, which did amazing chips, and although my legs were off with too many cuts to count, we had a lovely lunch and the views were stunning and it was the perfect day for a walk.

However on they way back we missed our turn to our path and to make our way back onto it we went down a steep hill, to stop myself falling a put my hand in brambles, at the bottom I had to jump into stinging nettles and finally get over another barbed wire fence.

In the evening of that day we went to Scarborough to see Box & Cox at the theatre. I loved it, it was so funny and the songs were used very well and were very catchy.

This dog every time we came back to the cottage we were staying in started yapping at us.

Hope to write again soon !!!
