On our first day in Amble we had a walk around the town before we drove to Cragside, which is a National Trust estate. There we walked around the house and parts of the estate, then we drove along the estate drive. In the evening, we went for a walk along the coast.

On our second day in Durham we started the day with a walk along the river, then we walked to the Cathedral and had a look around. Afterwards we visited the Botanical Gardens which is run by the University. Then we drove along the coast to Amble. In the evening we walked along the coast to see the sunset.

I have finally got around to going through the last of my photos from the summer, so ... During the summer I spent a week in Amble in Northumberland. On the first day we drove to Durham, where we walked around the city and stayed for the night before driving onto Amble the next day.
