Rome | Vatican City

Hi !!!
On the second day of my trip to Rome I went to the Museo Nazionale Palazzo in the morning. Then afterwards I went to Vatican City by metro. While I was there I had a tour of the Vatican galleries, Sistine Chapel and St Peter's Basilica, which were beautiful. I wanted to go up the dome, but unfortunately it was closed. Afterwards, I walked along the river, past the Castel St Angelo to the Piazze Navona where I had a delicious pizza.

Rome | Trevi Fountain

Hi !!!
I have just got back from an amazing 4 day trip to Rome. I started with a very early flight on Monday morning from Luton to Fuimcino airport and during the flight I had an beautiful view of the sunrise.

After the flight I checked in at the hotel which was near Termini Station, I then walked over to Termini to buy lunch. Then I went for a walk around the city including visiting the Basilica of St Maria Meggiore and the Basilica of St John Lanteran. Then, after dinner I walked down to the Trevi Fountain which looked beautiful light up at night and I bought some delicious Nutella gelato while I was there.

I love the contrast in Rome between very old buildings, such as this old Roman aqueduct and the new modern buildings which are constantly next to one another

Andy Warhol at the Ashmolean

Hi !!!
Yesterday I went to Oxford to see the Andy Warhol exhibition at the Ashmolean Museum. I really enjoyed the exhibition, it was one collection that was being displayed and because of that I saw many pieces that I had never seen or heard of before, which I liked, but it meant that some of the typical pieces you would associate with Warhol were not there.

 

I love the reflection of the poster in the glass
