Coniston | Tarn Hows & Brantwood

Hi !!!
The second day of my holiday started off dull, then gradually got brighter as the day went on. In the morning I went for a walk around Tarn Hows. Then in the afternoon I went around Brantwood, I went round the house and gardens, which I had never been round before and they looked amazing. Then late afternoon I went for a short walk around Lake Coniston.

Coniston | Elterwater Walk

Hi !!!
I have just come back from a short 3 day holiday to Coniston, in the Lake District.
The first day was gorgeous weather so I went on a 6 mile ish walk from Elterwater to Skelwith Bridge.

 

I really like the contrast here between the still, calm water and the fast flowing disrupted water
